From May 1951 to March 1952 I have fortnightly instalments of a school “magazine” which I wrote (instead of letters home originally) called “The Washout.” These contain a good deal of news and views and might possibly help to fill in a few details of life at that time. I have one or two other records, of matches, plays, exams, etc, which might be marginally useful!
